Who is going to play optimus in Transformers 4?

Remember when Michael Bay was making Transformers 3, he made it no secret that he didn’t plan on returning for a fourth movie. But he came around to the idea, and now he’s explaining why he changed his mind and will be back for Transformers 4 with this statement..

“I thought I was done,” he tells The Huffington Post. “Then the ride came out [at Universal Studios Hollywood] and the two-and-a-half-hour lines. And then you’re thinking, Oh my God, someone’s going to take this over. And you start doing a lot of soul-searching. Like, OK, I’m about to do a little movie, Pain & Gain … and the studio says they want to restart the franchise. And someone could come in here and screw it up, you know? So I’m thinking that if I do this last one, we set it on a new footing, we change a lot of things — but we keep the history of the three in place. But we broaden it so it can be set up and be carried on — it would have a better chance for survival, I guess. You know?”

“We’re basically taking from the history of where it was — or where we left it in Chicago,” he explains. “And we’re going to carry it on from there.”

Now there is also talk of Peter Cullen Coming back to be the voice of Optimus Prime

Dead Island:Riptide CGI Trailer released, will it be as good as the first game?

Dead Island: Riptide CGI trailer was released, and after watching the couple obliterate themselves in a huge explosion created by propane and a lighter. This video definitely chilled me more than the announcement trailer for the original Dead Island video game. Basically you have to see it for yourselves to get the full feeling that most of us are feeling.

S.H.I.E.L.D tv series will feature new characters?

Joss Whedon’s “S.H.I.E.L.D.” series will feature new characters. In an interview with MTV News, Whedon said the new series would have to feature new players, despite being set in the “Avengers” movie universe.

“It’s new characters. It needs to be its own thing,” Whedon said. “It needs to be adjacent [to the MCU] but you don’t want to do a show where you’re constantly going, ‘Iron Man just left, but he was totally here a minute ago.'”

Whedon said the characters need to do their own thing, even though they don’t have powers. “That makes them a little bit — even though they’re a big organization — underdogs, and that’s interesting to me,” Whedon explained.

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator will write the project with his brother Jed Whedon and Jed’s Maurissa Tancharoen. The trio will executive produce the ABC pilot alongside Jeffrey Bell and Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb. Whedon will also write and direct the sequel to “The Avengers.”

“The important thing to me is that we know what the show is,” Whedon told Vulture. “We love what it is. It came together very organically, so when we went in to pitch [to Marvel], it wasn’t like, ‘We’re trying to find this because you want a TV show,’ it was, ‘Check this out.’ And that’s a good way to walk in a room.”

After the pilot was announced, we could not help but to investigate further on this epic announcement. We will continue to keep you updated as we get more information, but we want to ask you who do you think should be in the new TV Series? Merle is back, does that spell trouble for Rick?

Looking at Merle, piercing us with his  stare and metal-encased stub of an arm, it makes us wonder why Merle Dixon survives to return in Season 3 of The Walking Dead. Having sawed off his own arm to escape a hallucinatory wave of zombies at the end of Season 1, Merle is back, now with pirate like feature to add to his colorful personality.

Micheal Rooker, who plays the brother of Daryl Dixon, talked to Comic Book Movie about the return of southern extremist, Merle, who had built up a fan base in his absence. When asked in his interview whether it was difficult to portray such an explicitly vicious character, Rooker was all pro:

Nah…I mean being uncomfortable is a good thing for an actor. How I feel as a person can’t be allowed to influence all of what I do as a character. And Merle is definitely a character.

For not appearing in the original comic series, Merle is unique to the TV show. Rooker feels that this gave him more room to make the character his own, with his southern upbringing playing a crucial part in Merle’s development. It makes us all wonder what do they have in store for Rick and the other survivors, and most importantly what will happen with Daryl?

Season 3 of The Walking Dead airs on October 14th.

A True Bruce Wayne!!

I usually don’t cover news stories about the stars unless it revolves around tv, movies, or games but Christopher Nolan could not have picked a better Batman. Not only does he fit the superhero role, but he also fits the illustrious, charitable Bruce Wayne.

Christian Bale is truly living up to his Role as Bruce Wayne and Batman, Christian Bale has performed yet another super heroic act of charity by quietly flying a cancer-stricken child and his family to Disneyland and hanging out with them. This wonderful child’s name is Jayden and he is currently in remission from leukemia, but he’s been battling cancer for two of his four years. The Hollywood Reporter, states Oscar winner Bale quietly flew Barber and his family out to L.A. where the actor, his wife and daughter had lunch with Jayden and his family at Disneyland’s Club 33.

Jayden’s mother Charlene posted about the experience on the Facebook page forLighting the Batsignal for Jayden:

“The entire interaction was like old friends having lunch. Jayden did not get star struck but was well aware of who we were with! They talked movies and super Heros an he was genuinely happy to hear about everything Jayden wanted to tell him. Christian, his wife and daughter are three of the most beautiful people we have ever met! Christian made these arrangements for us personally and ensured we were treated like royalty. I don’t have even one negative thing to say about them. I can tell you that they were just as impressed w Jayden as Jayden was w them :)”

Pilot Ordered for ABC’s Marvel TV Series S.H.I.E.L.D

Joss Whedon to Co-write and possibly direct the pilot

We now know what the big Marvel TV series is that Joss Whedon is helping bring to ABC, which is set inside the Marvel  Universe and tied into the Avengers – It’s S.H.I.E.L.D.

Deadline broke the big news, revealing S.H.I.E.L.D. has officially been given a green light for a pilot by ABC. Joss Whedon will co-write the pilot and possibly direct it as well. Writing with him will be his brother, Jed Whedon and Jed’s wife, Maurissa Tancharoen. Jed Whedon and Tancharoen wrote Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog with Joss Whedon and another brother, Zack Whedon, and were most recently writers on Spartacus.

Executive producing along with the Whedon brothers and Tancharoen will be Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb and Jeffrey Bell. Bell is another former Whedon collaborator, having been the showrunner on Angel in its final seasons – making it likely he could serve as showrunner on S.H.I.E.L.D. if it gets a series pickup. (Whedon will be a bit too busy prepping Avengers 2 to serve in that capacity, one would assume)

The project had been in the works at Marvel TV and ABC Studios for some time. Earlier this month, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that it had signed an exclusive film and TV deal with Joss Whedon, which included him writing and directing The Avengers sequel and develop a live-action series for Marvel TV and ABC, both owned by Disney.

I hope all of you comic Nerds are as excited as this comic nerd! With the pilot already greenlit, it’s looking very possible that S.H.I.E.L.D., should it get a series order (and Knowing ABC they will…), would possibly be on the schedule for fall 2013. This is just my estimated guess for the Airing season, But stay tuned in for more updates as they come in!
