Skyrim DLC for PS3 Update

Aggravation over  Skyrim PS3 DLC release eats at gamers. Dawnguard for PS3, is still a hopeful dream as well as Hearthfire, these are both available for Xbox 360. Recent tweets given by one of the people from Bethesda may shine light to what seemed like a lost cause.

There has been earlierrants on Twitter to Bethesda as they continue damage control over the lack of DLC availability for the Playstation 3. As reported by Product Reviews website, Pete Hines, the Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda sent out a recent tweet response to a Twitter member, which claims that a PS3 version of the DLC is still being worked on. Pete Hines tweeted:

“@NazDaBaz_MTW not cancelled, still working on it. The process of “trying things” just isn’t a quick one.”

With reading this statement, the only thing we can hope for is that PS3 owners get to experience the full effects of Skyrim soon.

The Last of Us

The Last of Us

After watching this video, and reading all the reviews and rants, I have decided this game would be a reason to buy a PS3 again!!

Survive an apocalypse on Earth in The Last of Us, a PlayStation 3-exclusive title by Naughty Dog. Here, you will find abandoned cities reclaimed by nature. Here is a population decimated by a modern plague. Here, there are only survivors killing each other for food, weapons, or whatever they can get their hands on. Here, you find no hope.

Joel, a brutal survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together if they hope to survive their journey across the US.

Furthermore, if you like survival, and you love the sneaking around and wanting to destroy everything than this is the game for you to demolish.
Imagine my joy, when i first watched Joel grab a guy use him as a shield and then brutally beat the man sensless when he didn’t need him anymore, migh have well qued the hail music. All in all I will have to play this game and so should you.

Release Date: TBA 2013

Capcom announces DLC for Resident Evil 6

Capcom has announced three new gameplay modes coming to Resident Evil 6 as post-launch downloadable content:

  • Survivors Mode will let players respawn as enemies when they’re killed and attack humans. Killing two characters will allow players to respawn as a human, and the last man or team standing wins.
  • Predator Mode has one player take the role of the Ustanak, a “fearsome B.O.W.” that other players will have to try to kill. Players will have to try to kill the Ustanak before time runs out, “or at least survive until the end of the session.”
  • Siege Mode will have two teams (one human, one enemy) and a single non-playable character. The human team will be tasked with protecting the NPC, while the other team will try to kill them. If the NPC is still alive when the game ends, the human team wins.

All three modes will support up to six players and will be played using maps from Mercenaries mode. For now, we have heard these are a timed exclusive for Xbox 360 and at this time I can not speculate or confirm what will be for the other platforms. The three modes will be trackable on ResidentEvil.net, the stat-tracking service Capcom announced last month.

Resident Evil 6 will hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 2nd with a PC version to follow later. Capcom will release a new demo later this month, featuring content from three of the game’s four campaigns.

What races will Final Fantasy XIV have?

So to continue coverage on Final Fantasy XIV, Here is the race information with pictures included. All information was gathered from their website finalfantasyxiv.com, and I will continue to bring you the latest coverage on this game as the information rolls in. Here are the Races and information on them.

HYUR

Over the course of some one thousand years and three great migratory waves, the Hyur have come to be the most populous of the civilized races in Eorzea. Compared to the others, theirs is an average physique, both in terms of height and build. The Hyur champion personal freedom and liberty, and their espousal of an eclectic variety of languages and traditions is a legacy of their diverse heritage―as is their resulting lack of a unified cultural identity.

MIQO’TE

Though their presence in Eorzea is lesser than that of the other races, the Miqo’te are easily distinguished by their large, projecting ears and restless, feline tails. The ancestors of this line first made their way to the realm during the Age of Endless Frost in the Fifth Umbral Era, traversing frozen seas in pursuit of the wildlife upon which they subsisted. Instinctual territoriality causes many among them to lead solitary lifestyles. Males in particular are said to shy from contact with others.

ELEZEN

The Elezen are a characteristically tall people, long of limb and slender of build. They are also possessed of a somewhat extended lifespan in comparison to the Hyur. The Elezen once claimed sole dominion over Eorzea, their presence predating that of the other races, and, as such, developed a heightened sense of honor and pride. In years past, the Hyur migration into Elezen lands sparked bitter conflict. At present, however, the mutual understanding reached between the two races allows them to work towards mutual peace and prosperity.

ROEGADYN

The Roegadyn are easily identified by their massive, muscular frames. They are descended from a maritime people that roamed the northern seas, though many of their ancestors turned their longships south to brave the crossing into Eorzean waters. Often considered a barbaric race, the fiercely competitive Roegadyn are also known for their compassion and unswerving loyalty. Many of the greatest warriors in history were born of Roegadyn stock.

LALAFELL

The Lalafell are a folk both rotund and diminutive. Small by any race’s standards and possessed of a childlike countenance, it proves difficult for non-Lalafell to gauge an individual’s age with any degree of accuracy. Originally an agricultural people inhabiting the fertile islands of the south seas, they found their way to Eorzea via the burgeoning trade routes. Lalafell are welcoming of outsiders, and share prosperous relations with all of the other races of Eorzea.
